About this adventure
More reset @ primitive path
Are you ready for a new path in your life? Is your current way of doing things no longer working? Get away from your current life and recharge with new energy from nature.
On the Camino Primitivo we explore your new life path together. You go back to yourself here, you let go of all the layers you have collected. It is possible to start walking in our albergue in La Espina or from Oviedo after which you will arrive at our place after 3 days of walking. We would like to welcome you at the beginning of your Camino to get to know each other personally and to give you as much confidence as possible and help you on your way. In our albergue we will work together for a day on your deep desires and what else presents itself. You discover what does and does not serve you anymore and you learn to let go. Then we look at what does?
If you are struggling with tension or burnout feelings, this trip is extremely suitable. Together with you, we ensure that you learn to respect your boundaries. We look at your life from a distance. We will work on themes such as values, meaning and being yourself. After this Camino, you will have a new direction that you can work on at home. In just over 2.5 weeks, you will put yourself back on your life path by walking and from self-awareness.
From experience we know that it is incredibly helpful to talk to someone who knows what you are going through, who understands you. Together with you we will determine how many kilometers you walk per day and the type of overnight stay you want. In this way we adjust based on your needs.

This is why you want to walk this route
On the Camino Primitivo you will feel the magic of the Camino to the fullest, the Celts have gone before you!
This oldest pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela is also called the wild or green route because of its rugged mountain landscapes. You start walking in the beautiful city of Oviedo. The airport of Asturias is nearby. Even if you do not know whether you like walking, the Camino Primitivo is a nice introductory model. From Oviedo you walk 306 km to Santiago de Compostela in 2 weeks. After Oviedo you immediately step into nature and peace. You walk through small villages where you feel like you are back in time. On day 6 you cross the beautiful mountain pass the Route de Hospitale or you walk via Polle de la Allande if you want to take it easier. You pass the ancient city of Lugo and in Melide you meet the walkers of the Camino Francés. Are you not finished after Santiago and do you want to be reborn? Then you walk in 3 to 4 days to Finisterre (Fin de terre) 'the end of the world'. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful sunset in the sea and feel like a new person.
The benefits
- To be walked in 2 to 3 weeks
- Pleasantly busy in terms of number of pilgrims
- Accessible fitness level walking
we arrange your overnight stays
We reserve your overnight stays. This way we can easily adjust if you want to walk a little less or more for a day. The overnight stays on the Camino Primitivo can vary. One night you sleep in a dormitory between the pilgrims in albergues (hostels) and the next night you have a room for yourself in a hotel or guesthouse. This way you experience the real pilgrim feeling and you also have time to recharge in your own bubble.
